Okay, everyone!
A handful of us went scouting the central Phoenix area around the convention center, and finally found an ideal spot for both our meetup as well as our super shiny photoshoot!
Just look at those pictures! That’s where we’ll be meeting, right next to some awesome frog statues for reference’s sake!
But where is this place, exactly?
THE LOCATION WILL BE AT THE ARIZONA SHOPPING CENTER, WHICH IS A BLOCK NORTH OF THE PHOENIX CONVENTION CENTER, ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 3RD STREET AND VAN BUREN!
IT WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY AT 3:00 PM, AND THE PHOTOSHOOT WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 4:13PM!*
*unless you guys want to start earlier; that would be cool, too!

Due to the fact that this is a very public place of business, albeit a good ways away from the businesses themselves, we have had to ask permission of the management of the center in order to use this area without any complaints.SO, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES, SO WE CAN LEAVE A VERY POSITIVE IMPRESSION AND REPUTATION AS CLASSY HOMESTUCK FANS.
- The ONE THING that the management has asked us to do is that we please do not capture the logos of the neighboring businesses in our photos, if we can help it. (This is the only stipulation they’ve given us, which I personally don’t understand aside from some copyright thing maybe, but please follow their wishes regardless).
The rest of the stuff is just common sense with a dash of politeness and decency, but just for reminders!
- Please be respectful of those who may also be using the same area as us, especially the people eating at the nearby restaurants. There are also fountains that children play in, so please keep that in mind.
- Seriously; don’t go out of your way to be ostentatious jerk to people who aren’t in our group. It’s really not cool to act out just because you’re in costume with a lot of like-minded people. One rotten apple ruins the entire bunch, after all.
- If someone is trying to corral people for the photoshoots, please listen and be attentive to those giving instructions, as they are trying to keep everyone organized and run the thing as smoothly as possible.
- That should be it, really. Wow, I sounded pretty professional, huh? Oh wait! One more thing…
- Don’t splash anyone, lol.
